This scholarship was originally funded through the Central Galas to award an annual scholarship to a graduating senior at Washington Community High School to assist student to attend a college or university. The recipient must have been a graduate of Central School District 51 and modeled Central's "Leader in Me" 7 Leadership Habits during his or her career at WCHS.

This scholarship was established by The 12th Man and Panther Football Alumni Association, in memory of 12th Man founding member Charlie Fuller, to award an annual scholarship to a WCHS senior football player, to financially assist student to attend a college, university, trade school, or military.

This scholarship is in honor of Larry and Patricia Stagen who served together in education for 65 years, and in memory of Pat’s parents, Mildred and Ray Hunkler, and her grandparents, Ruth and John Hunkler. The award is to financially assist WCHS graduating students to attend a college or university to pursue a degree in education.

Named after former teacher and coach Dennis Landry, this scholarship is awarded to students who are attending St. Patrick School in Washington, Illinois, to financially assist said students with tuition.

This scholarship was established by Marjorie and Maurice Frederick Mason in memory of their son, Stephen, who was killed during a meteorological experiment while serving in the U. S. Army in November 1971. Stephen was a graduate of WCHS and earned a degree in history with honors from Western Illinois in 1969. He also taught in the Washington school system until enlisting in the Army in 1970. The award is to financially assist WCHS graduating students to attend a college or university to pursue a degree in history, political science, or another of the social sciences.

This scholarship was established by Ethel Storey as a memorial fund in honor of her deceased daughter, Mary Morrow. This renewable scholarship is awarded to current or former graduates of Washington Community High School to financially assist students in attending a college, university, or trade school.

The Class of 2020 wanted to see their senior gift go back to future senior classes at WCHS. Although their year ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they wished to continue to spread senior spirit to incoming WCHS seniors. The purpose of this scholarship is to target students who may be unlikely to win awards otherwise and are deserving, but potentially overlooked due to less involvement or a lower GPA. 

This scholarship is in memory of James Zilch who lived and worked in the Washington community for over 50 years. The scholarship provides assistance to WCHS graduating seniors to attend a college or university to pursue a mathematics-related major or career. The student can be attending a junior college or a four-year university.

This scholarship was established by Arlan and Kathy Wehnes as a memorial fund in honor of their son, Scott Wehnes, a former WCHS football standout, who passed away in 1998. This scholarship is awarded annually to a WCHS senior football player who will continue to play football at the collegiate level.

This scholarship was established by Melvin White in memory of his wife, Winifred, who was a language arts teacher at Washington Grade School District 52 for 27 years. The scholarship provides assistance to WCHS graduating seniors to attend a college or university who are entering the field of education in language arts and pursuing to teach at the middle school level.

This scholarship was established by Marjorie Ary in honor of her fellow classmates of the WCHS Class of 1966. This non-renewable, need-based scholarship provides assistance to WCHS graduating seniors to attend a college or university. The student can be attending a junior college or a four-year university.

This scholarship was established by Patrick Sams/Country Financial as a memorial fund in honor of Brad Parrott.
